    I love puppets!

    I’ve composed scores for 20+ puppet theatre shows from weird and wonderful Avant Garde adult shows to super cute family shows like Julia ‘The Gruffalo’ Donaldson’s take on ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’.

    Each of them was a joy and pushed me to make new and different kinds of music.

    I wanted to share some of that music BUT… I do like a ‘proper’ song me, a ’singer-songwriter-y’ song. I just do. So I took some of the existing compositions and transformed them into new ‘proper’ songs and what belters they are!

Based on a cue from the show 'Invisible me' (2018) for Maia Kirkman-Richards (www.puppetsbymaia.com).

It was meant to sound like what a 7 year old would think 'cool' sounds like - hence finger clicks and saxophones.

My friends Jay Chakrovorty and Joe Peet added some abstract synths and transformed it into something *actually* cool.
