    I love puppets!

    I’ve composed scores for 20+ puppet theatre shows from weird and wonderful Avant Garde adult shows to super cute family shows like Julia ‘The Gruffalo’ Donaldson’s take on ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’.

    Each of them was a joy and pushed me to make new and different kinds of music.

    I wanted to share some of that music BUT… I do like a ‘proper’ song me, a ’singer-songwriter-y’ song. I just do. So I took some of the existing compositions and transformed them into new ‘proper’ songs and what belters they are!

The music was originally a love song for a fridge (with ballet dancing scissors) Obviously.

Last year this song was on a 'mystery single' for Shoebox Records - so my first 7" single - hopefully I can blame the 'mystery' element - ie: nobody knowing it was by me for the fact that it sold about 8 copies.

I have 2 of them.
