The scientist has found the lighthouse only to find it haunted by the spectral figures of a drunken sailor and a pirate queen. Barring her path they sing a tall tale of a young man setting out to find his love, his life, his way. A tale so tall it might be true....

A tale of a dark and stormy night when a young man lost his love and the lighthouse fell black. A tale of how the young man rose from the wreckage as a tyrant in waiting, a beaten bag of meat who limped away to rule the island as the Butcher.

But a tale too of what the young man left behind there - the bones of him, the good in him, the inextinguishable light of him. His skeletal ghost remains to save oncoming ships from crashing on the shore, shining out a light too bright to see. The island may be hidden from the outside world but the bones stand warning guard to any who come near.

And now the scientist knows - if the young man's bones still shine to save the outside world then there must be an outside world to save.
